Cosmo Bride
Winter 2011
Part One

On chilling days what’s better then a cup of tea and a good magazine to read?  Well this month of Cosmo Bride is a winner and with so many Karen Willis Holmes gowns in this issue we are sharing it with you in two parts!

The ‘Madelyn’ gown is featured on pg89 and is a great choice for modern brides after a strapless silhouette.  Our very own Lyndel from the Melbourne store photographed this look.  Look at the full shoot at http://misslyndelyeo.blogspot.com/2011/03/country-breeze.html.  I love this shot – it is effortless and fresh and I am very proud and excited to see Lyndel’s work in the future.

Inspired by Hollywood glamour the 'Claudia' and 'Satine' couture gowns were the perfect choice.  Achieve instant glamour with all over sequins and the tulle fishtail skirt of the 'Claudia' gown.  The ‘Satine’ gown is a strapless bias gown with a tulle coat with feather shoulder detail will also give you the wow factor.

For a sleek look reminiscent of the 1930’s with it’s cowl neck front and back the ‘Tiffany’ gown from the Karen Willis Holmes ready to wear collection.  Team with a brooch at the waist or a gorgeous necklace for a stunning result.

Cosmo Bride is always filled to the brim with on trend information and advice and their body shape sections are always great at helping brides choose gowns that will flatter and enhance their silhouette.  The ‘Alyssa’ gown is featured with its A-line skirt and tiered ruffle detail – perfect for adding feminine curves to tomboy shapes.

Look out tomorrow for Part two of our Cosmo Bride special – for a look at some of the bridesmaid gowns featured this issue.

Our ready to wear stores in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney do not work by appointment.
